Welcome to Proton Bus Urbano!

This is the classic version focused on urban buses for transporting passengers within cities. The original game was released in 2017, and since then, our simulator has continuously received numerous updates and enhancements.

The modding system for buses has significantly advanced, now supporting a wide range of animations for buttons, rain, wipers, windows, and more. The community has already created hundreds of buses, with even more in development!

We will soon be releasing many new buses as mods. Including all of them in the game would make it excessively large, and not everyone would use all the vehicles. Therefore, as a mod user, you can select and keep only the ones you prefer, saving storage space.

In addition to the bus modding system, we introduced a map modding system in 2020, something rarely found in mobile games! Creating maps requires a computer, but once created, they can be played on most mobile devices with sufficient RAM.

While the old routes are still available, we are now predominantly focusing on custom map creation, making them the primary attraction.

This simulator is free to play with additional features available for paid users. You can enjoy the free version indefinitely; we are not solely motivated by monetization. Pay only if you genuinely appreciate this project and understand its development process. As a paid user, you won't encounter any ads and will gain access to exclusive features such as virtual mirrors, cruise control (automatic acceleration at specific speeds), 360-degree screenshot capturing, and more. Almost all other features and buses are completely free of charge.

Proton Bus Urbano is more of a simulator than a game. Therefore, we do not focus on points or checkpoints; it's all about selecting a bus you like and driving it. Due to its complexity, there are numerous controls and settings to consider. We highly recommend watching tutorial videos online before complaining about any issues. Most complaints can be easily resolved, such as pressing N before selecting a gear to start moving the bus. And don't forget to release the parking brake. Some options may cause unintended behavior, so make sure to carefully read the setting descriptions before enabling specific options. Certain options may work better on some devices than others.

This project is available for both PC and Android platforms. The overall graphics quality is better on PCs due to their generally more powerful hardware. There are various settings that can be adjusted to enhance performance. A modern mid or high-end device with a significant amount of RAM (preferably 4GB or more) is required to enjoy the game fully. If you experience any performance issues, please consider trying older versions or adjusting settings accordingly. Note that there is a known problem with 64-bit applications developed with Unity for Android. If you encounter poor frame rates on your device, you may try downloading the 32-bit apk from our website, as it may offer better performance in some cases.

Going forward, we will be focusing more on core updates, particularly regarding modding support. Proton Bus Urbano is truly amazing with mods - just imagine it without them for a moment!

You can download mods by searching for "Proton Bus mods" or by accessing the in-game button. To install mods, you will need to use a file manager, but don't worry, the community is always ready to assist you.

Please note that most advanced features have been tested on a Samsung Galaxy S9, while basic ones have been tested on a J7 Prime. Older phones with less than 2GB of RAM may not provide an optimal experience, but you can still try installing the game manually via apk/obb files, although this is not guaranteed.
